Demond Cook is the Founder & President of Cook Consulting Group, a Cyber Security Consultancy that offers strategy and the implementation of Cyber Security Target Operating Models and Talent Acquisition Services for growing Cyber Security teams. He has served as a Technical Practitioner and Talent Acquisition Leader in the ever-evolving field of Cyber Security for over 10 years.
A successful athletic career as a player and coach led him to seek out his first Cyber Security position with his dream company, The NBA. Since his launch, his work and partnership have amplified the accomplishments of NBCUniversal, Interpublic Group, Deloitte, NJTransit, Prudential, Lazard, and many other growing organizations.
Cook has been featured in Fortune, Black Enterprise Magazine and AfroTech and is a Keynote Speaker devoted to a multitude of topics that blend his mission to identify Cyber Security Talent, scale the Cyber Security Workforce, and invigorate diverse learners to evolve into the generation of Cyber Security practitioners that protect our wellbeing.
